Master Lawyer Mathieu ISENBAERT

Mathieu has over 10 years of experience as a lawyer and tax advisor for Belgian and multinational companies. In the context of tax litigation, Mathieu has successfully represented his clients before the highest courts, such as the Constitutional Court and the European Court of Justice (Cobelfret and Tate & Lyle cases). He has also overseen strategic tax audits, corporate simplification projects, and multinational corporate reorganizations.Mathieu is the author of numerous Belgian and international publications. In 2008, he successfully defended his doctoral thesis at KU Leuven titled "Community Law and the Sovereignty of Member States in Direct Taxation." He is currently a professor at the Royal Military Academy.
